Applying the "Circle of Courage"

A.  Description

This workshop involves participants in extending their knowledge of and application of the "Circle of Courage" to the daily realities of their schools and classrooms.  A portion of our morning is devoted to learning more about the basic needs, related concepts and possible uses of this powerful framework for preventing and responding to challenging behavior and strengthening classroom and school climate.  The remainder of our time together engages participants in working with a colleague or colleagues on a specific application or issue of their own choosing for implementing the "Circle of Courage" in their classroom or school (see possibilities below).  During this time, Ron will be available to provide assistance.
