Phonics Think Patterns links children’s natural attraction to patterns with the development of phonetic skills, an important element in learning to read. The 72 cards cover vowels (short, long, vowels combined with r, and double vowels); consonants (beginning, middle, and ending); and consonant blends. Illustrations are frequently used to suggest words, adding a vital dimension.
