Realistic, simulated baseball game drives the desire to spell words correctly, either from teacher-generated lists or the 48 carefully selected grade-level lists included. There are 16 progressively-challenging lists per grade level, each with 30 words. Powerful experiences in spelling, probability, and strategic decision-making put these games in a class all by themselves. “At Bats” may result in singles, doubles, triples, homeruns, strikeouts, hitting into double or triple plays, stolen bases, and much more—plus the highly desirable opportunity to spell! Each turn requires a probability-based strategic decision by the batter. Here is the motivation for reluctant spellers to get into action! For 2 players or teams.
