Sound Off - 1

 

This variation of Crazy Eights provides children with abundant practice with vowel teams (also known as double vowels or vowel digraphs).  Players match cards by vowel sound or by spelling pattern (e.g. snow matches to boat by sound, or to clown by spelling).  Great fun for 2 or more players.
